Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus (Junie B. Jones, #1)by Barbara Park Junie B. Jones and the Stupid Smelly Bus, is the first book of the Junie B. series. This book was ok. This one was a bit unbelievable to me, while most of the series, I find rather possible. Of course, she is mouthy, and kind of a bully, but funny. We meet her before a kindergarten meet the teacher. She likes Mrs., but is not fond of the idea, of riding the bus. One the first day of school, she is upset, because the girl is saving the seat for someone. Then Meanie Jim gets on, and they don't get along. On the way off the bus, everyone is pushing her, and she gets stepped on. Once in school, she gets in random arguments, with everyone. They did some class work, and played at recess. They also take a tour of the school. At the end of the day Lucille, tells her, mean kids on the bus, like to dump chocolate milk on kids heads. That was it, she was not getting back on the bus. So she snuck out of line and hid behind the teachers desk, the in the supply cabinet. Then everyone is looking for her, but then everyone, must give up, cause all the doors are locked, and the only other person in the school, is the janitor.So what does Junie B do? Well, she plays school, and stirs fish, and play air plane, in the hall way. But then she has a 'MERGENCY! She needs a bathroom, and needs it now. But they are all locked, so what can she do....aha, call 911.Soon Mrs., the principal, every emergency service, a her ever cranky Mother, show up. Will she ever ride the bus again?
