★★★In The Night Kitchen by Maurice SendakThis one was a weird one. Mickey falls asleep, and starts to dream. He falls right out of his clothes and into the night kichen. Three fat bakers try to bake him in a cake. He escapes as a human doughboy, to a plane, and to the Milky Way. But my daughter seemed to like it enough.
